Napoli coach Rafa Benitez says his side created enough chances to score and win the game against Lazio.
The Partenopei continue to struggle as they crash out of the Italian Cup but the Spaniard is optimistic ahead of the last nine games of the season in the Serie A.
"We created a lot but failed to take advantage of created chances," Benitez said.
"Credit to Lazio first of all. As for the game, all I can do is to analyse the game and see that we had six-seven chances to score. Then it can happen that when you don't score you concede at the very end.
"We have to look forward, we hope to create as many goal-scoring opportunities in our next game. There are nine games left in the championship and we have to give our 100%.
"Nobody is happy [with the outcome]. We have to improve but we're optimistic. I just now want to prepare the Fiorentina game so as to get back on winning terms."
