Napoli coach Rafa Benitez says tomorrow's game against Lazio will not decide the fight for a top-three finish.
The Partenopei are just one point behind third-placed Lazio but desperately need all three points in order to shrug off pressure from third-place chasing Sampdoria, Fiorentina, Genoa and Milan.
"It will be an important game against quality opposition," Benitez said.
"But it will not decide the title race or who will qualify for the Champions League.
"It's a high-quality game and we have to be ready. They score a lot of goals in the first half, just as we used to do last season. This season, however, we score more in the second half and this is important in respect to our fitness level.
"[Ivan] Strinic and [Giandomenico] could start the game.
"Strinic is training regularly after recovering from injury. [Manolo] Gabbiadini was fit as soon as he joined, he featured against Juventus and we talk on a daily basis to understand the best role for him."
Meanwhile, Benitez says no players will be sold or loaned out in January.
"We will not sell any players," the Spaniard explained.
"And we will not sign any, unless an important opportunity comes along. And again, nobody will leave, we will soon start a set of games in the championship and Europe and all players will be needed."
