Napoli coach Rafa Benitez felt his side could have taken all three points against Internazionale on Sunday evening.
The Partenopei took the lead on the 79th minute of the game through Jose Callejon but the Nerazzurri restored parity three minutes later as Fredy Guarin was left unmarked on the far post.
And it was more of the same late in the game with Internazionale midfielder Hernanes scoring the final goal of the game seconds after the 27-year Spaniard scored his personal second.
"I am bitterly disappointed with the draw conceded so late," Benitez told reporters after the game.
"But I'm satisfied with the attitude of the squad.
"I'm happy with the way we played, with how we performed in the second half on such a tough away pitch but disappointed for conceding twice.
"We waited for Internazionale in the early stages and we struggled but in the second half we managed to dictate play, showing that we deserve to fight for the top places of the table.
"The work done by David Lopez and [Gokhan] Inler was fantastic. I understand we could have done better when in possession but we were missing players like [Walter] Gargano and those who came back from international duty.
"In midfield we faced high-profile players like Kovacic, Hernanes and Medel, we did well against them."
