Napoli coach Rafa Benitez says he set no long-term objectives for his team.
The Partenopei face Internazionale away from home tonight and the Spaniard is convinced his players can take all three points from the San Siro game.
"I think I was clear at the beginning [of the season]," Benitez told reporters on Saturday.
"I always take it one game at a time. My objective is to win our next game so we're focused on doing just that at the San Siro.
"We'll then see how far we can go. At this stage we have to set near-future objectives without looking too far ahead of us.
"Internazionale is one of the strongest sides in the Italian league, I believe they can fight for the top places.
"They have depth in the squad and a very good coach. They were built to qualify for Europe and fight at the top.
"I don't know what tactics I'll use, they are quality in the offensive department and I very much doubt they will defend since they will be playing at home.
"They can beat anyone. Our job will be to have the right mental attitude, to go out there knowing that we can win the game."
Asked if captain Marek Hamsik will benefit from the goals scored for his national team, Benitez said: "On the pitch we'll see a number of talented players.
"Like Marek but also Higuain, Palacio, Icardi and others. Then clearly, the game can be decided with one stroke of genius. Hamsik can be the one but many other champions will feature tomorrow."
Midfielder Walter Gargano is expected to be on the sidelines for a month but Benitez prefers not to talk about injured players.
"I don't like to talk about injuries," Benitez said.
"For sure it's sad to lose a player who opted out of the national team to train with us. But we have other players who can cover his role."
