Napoli coach Rafa Benitez was satisfied after his side registered their second consecutive win in a few days.
The Partenopei proved too strong for Slovan Bratislava with local favourite Marek Hamsik opening the scoring in the first half and Gonzalo Higuain sealing victory with a well-placed header late in the second half.
"I'm satisfied, I liked how we approached the game and what we did on the pitch," Benitez said after the 0-2 win.
"There are still four games to go and getting through the group stage is not easy. We're taking it one game at a time and today I saw a good mentality, right from the start.
"I said it was not going to be easy here and in fact they did well offensively with the likes of Saoumah, Lasik and Milinkovic, all of them are quality."
Asked about the importance of midfielder Marek Hamsik in the squad, Benitez said: "Marek is an important player.
"Today he scored, assisted and played a very good game. I substituted him so as he could get the ovation from the crowd, I'm satisfied of his game and the game of all those involved."
