Italian club Napoli have rubbished reports that there are problems between manager Rafa Benitez and club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Benitez was given permission by the club to spend some time with his family in Liverpool with Italian newspapers suggesting that this could be an indication of problems between the Spaniard and the club.
But the club dismissed the reports as "false and ridiculous".
"As announced yesterday, Rafa Benitez is on holiday after attending the annual managers' meeting held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon. It's perfectly normal, albeit strange for Italian football," the club said in an announcement.
"The squad will rest three times in the next five days and Benitez will return to Napoli on Wednesday to resume training on Thursday after the arrival of the players involved with their respective National teams.
"Reading in today's newspapers that Benitez's holiday means that the relationship with De Laurentiis "is problematic" is false and ridiculous. The relationship between the manager and the Napoli president is excellent as they both of them already underlined."
