Milan are ready to use Mario Balotelli's £16m financial boost to add more talent in attack, according to reports.
With the Rossoneri disappointing in front of goal in pre-season, manager Filippo Inzaghi asked the club to sign a winger and a central striker before the end of the transfer window.
A number of players have been linked for the central role including Samuel Eto'o, Fernando Torres and Radamel Falcao but for the wing, Milan's primary objective is to sign Torino's Alessio Cerci.
The 27-year-old was one of the best players in the Serie A last season and was included in Italy's squad for the 2014 World Cup Finals.
And, according to Italian newspaper TuttoSport, Milan are ready to offer 30-year-old Giampaolo Pazzini as part of the deal that would see Cerci join the former champions.
Torino believe the former Fiorentina player is pivotal for a season that will see them competing in both the Serie A and most-likely the Europa League but could be forced to sell if an important offer is made.
