Massimiliano Allegri: We need to focus on the positives

By

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri says it is vital to focus on the positives after last night's 1-1 draw at home against Chievo.

The Bianconeri are still without a win in this season's Serie A campaign and could only manage a draw against in-form Chievo at the Juventus Stadium.

They will next Manchester City away from home in the Champions League.

"I've got nothing to criticise the lads about, we've got plenty of time to bounce back," Allegri told reporters.

"We approached the game following two defeats and there was the anxiety to score. We should have let them do the running and switch the play from one part of the pitch to the other, but our overall approach was good, and we fashioned at least five important goal scoring opportunities in the first half.

"We need to focus on the positives: this team has plenty of young players and these things take time. We knew that this season would be a lot tougher. We need to keep working because we've got our first Champions League game on Tuesday."
