Coach Massimiliano Allegri was bitterly disappointed after reigning champions Juventus started this season with a defeat at home against Udinese.
The Bianconeri were shocked after Cyril Thereau fired Udinese in front in the 78th of the game as they failed to recover the deficit.
They face Roma away from home next in what could already be a must-win game for Allegri's men.
"It's not a good result of course but I liked the fact that we tried to win the game," Allegri told Sky Sport Italy and Mediaset after the game.
"We conceded with their first true goal-scoring opportunity. It's a shame because we wanted to start well.
"We created chances but unfortunately we failed to score.
"We cannot keep on talking about Andrea [Pirlo], [Carlos] Teves and [Arturo] Vidal. They are no longer here, we have to get used to playing without them.
"[Cuadrado?] We have enough depth in the squad to fight for the title. We missed key players today but those who featured did well.
"Right now I don't want to focus too much on Cuadrado or the transfer market in general."
