Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri says more wins are needed to win the title but admits last night's victory over Lazio was an important step to lift the Scudetto.
Lazio were the better team in the early stages of the game but the Bianconeri wasted no time to take control of the game with Carlos Tevez giving his side the lead in the 17th minute of the game.
And ten minutes later it was Leonardo Bonucci who added a second for Juventus.
The win means Juventus go 15 points clear at the top of the Serie A as they prepare to face Monaco in the Champions League.
"It was a perfect game, Lazio never had an opportunity to hit the target," Allegri told Sky Sport Italy.
"I am happy with the performance of the lads, but not just for today. We are doing important things in the championship [and] we are in the final of the Italian Cup.
"These players should be praised, Lazio are doing well and played less games than we did and at this stage of the season this is an important factor.
"Beating the second-placed in the table was important, it means Lazio can only score 79 points but we still have to win games to be crowned champions.
"On Wednesday we have another important game, I'm yet to decide the formation to deploy, I will think about that tomorrow [on Sunday].
"When we defend well we can play with four or five [in midfield], we have to be technically good on Wednesday because it will be no different than last Tuesday's game."
