Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri praised his players for their recovery from a poor start against Atalanta in yesterday's 2-1 win.
The Bianconeri were shocked after Giulio Migliaccio gave the visitors the lead in the 25th minute of the game but kept their cool to first restore parity through Fernando Llorente and then take the lead with Andrea Pirlo.
And Allegri was delighted to open a ten-point gap at the top of the Serie A table.
"Winning tonight was important, we were never thinking about Tuesday's game [in the Champions League]," Allegri said.
"It was a difficult game, complicated, especially after we went behind. But the lads did well first to equalise and then to take the lead.
"We struggled in the early stages, it happens when you face a team that places ten men behind the ball, you have to be patient and wait for the right moment.
"We conceded from a corner in the same fashion we conceded against Milan. Of course we have to find a different solution to rectify this problem.
"From tomorrow [Saturday] we will shift our focus to the Champions [League game], it will be a difficult match against a team with plenty of experience in Europe, just like us."
