Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri blames technical mistakes for his side's away draw against Udinese on Sunday.
With Roma dropping points at home against Empoli, the Bianconeri had a golden opportunity to extend the lead at the top of the table but they could only manage a draw against Andrea Stramaccioni's side.
"Technically we were no good [in the first half]," Allegri told Sky Sport Italy.
"We rushed things when on the ball, they defended and we could have conceded when they came out on the counter.
"We improved in the second half, taking less risks but it wasn't easy because Udinese were aggressive.
"But it's a fair result, there's still a long way to go in the championship, many wins are needed [to win the title]."
Asked if a new striker will be added before the end of the winter transfer window, Allegri said: "[Alessandro] Matri and [Dani] Osvaldo are two important players.
"The club will assess the situation and decide. Giovinco will leave so four strikers are not enough, we need at least one more."
