Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was delighted after his side's 6-1 win against Verona in the Italian Cup.
The Bianconeri rested the likes of Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez but were still at their very best as they eased past Andrea Mandorlini's side.
"This team is full of enthusiasm," Allegri said during his post-match press conference.
"I understand there are players who feature less in the championship but I believe it's important that when they are called into action they are ready.
"This was the case tonight. Also at the end of the season there are a number of games where winning becomes vital so those who don't play very often would also be involved.
"These players reacted positively and I'm happy because this shows that Juventus can play certain games without the regular players.
"This spirit, this eagerness, this determination is important for the coach to have a selection headache."
The two teams will again face each other on Sunday in the Serie A but the 47-year-old says he will be expecting a different game.
"Sunday will be a different game, it's a championship game," Allegri said.
"They will want to bounce back so we will have to be better than tonight to win a very important game on Sunday."
Defender Angelo Ogbonna was forced out of the game after suffering an ankle injury and the Italian says the youngster will be assessed on Friday.
"We will see tomorrow for [Angelo] Ogbonna, he twisted his ankle and will be assessed tomorrow," Allegri explained.
"As for [Kwadwo] Asamoah, he will not be rushed back after surgery, patience is required else we would lose him for a longer period of time."
