Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri says the Bianconeri should have taken all three points against Sassuolo on Saturday evening.
Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco opted for an aggressive approach and his side were rewarded after they took the lead through Simone Zaza but Juventus replied straight away with a brilliant Paul Pogba effort.
And with Roma getting all three points against Chievo, the Bianconeri's lead at the top of the table is cut to only one point.
"Sassuolo played a very good game," Allegri said during his press conference.
"They have important players upfront who are quality and fast. We defended well but made mistakes when we had to deliver the final pass.
"Also [goalkeeper Andrea] Consigli did well. But we should have done better in front of goal.
"Knowing how Sassuolo play we knew it wasn't going to be easy and also those involved on international duty only came back three days ago.
"But we have to accept the draw knowing that nothing changes, we simply know we should have taken all three points.
Asked about Fernando Llorente's lack of goals, Allegri added: "Incidentally he wasn't supposed to start the second half because of a back problem.
"It was clear he wasn't feeling well. But he has to stay calm because he's doing well even if he's not scoring.
"We finished the game with the three "shorties" because I tried to make our way into the penalty area. We managed to do it sometimes but Sassuolo did well in other occasions.
"[Alvaro] Morata was suspended so he wasn't available although [Sebastian] Giovinco and [Kingsley] Coman did well after they were introduced."
