Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon says he will not be dragged into unnecessary controversy following Juventus' win over Roma last week.
Roma captain Francesco Totti was furious after the 3-2 defeat but Buffon insists players should be gracious in defeat and avoid unnecessary remarks when interviewed immediately after a game.
"I didn't speak with Totti after Juventus-Roma," Buffon told RaiSport.
"I don't care about post-match controversy, it's not in my style.
"I won a lot in my career but I also lost a lot. I finished third, fourth and seventh for two years but I think you never saw Buffon bashing someone during interviews or raising questions that bring nothing good to our game."
