Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri knows that winning the Italian Serie A will be his side's primary objective for the season.
Allegri was appointed by the club following Antonio Conte's surprise resignation and will be expected to match his predecessor's results, at least in the domestic league.
"[Our objective is] clearly to confirm last season's first place in the Serie A," Allegri told reporters at the UEFA coaching seminar in Nyon.
"There will be competition from Roma and Milan, which did so well during the transfer window.
"And Inter, Lazio, Fiorentina, with Rossi and Gomez back from injuries and Cuadrado who was not sold.
"And also Napoli, with everyone saying how they were finished after crashing out of the Champions League, but it's not one game that changes the strength of a squad, as the win against Genoa then showed."
The Bianconeri kicked off their campaign with a convincing away win against Chievo and will host Udinese when the Serie A resumes on Saturday 13.
