Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino was delighted with the way his players responded to Thursday's disappointed defeat at Anderlecht.
The Argentinean was bitterly disappointed after defeat in the Europa League but was full of praise for his players after a very convincing 5-1 win away at Bournemouth.
The win means Spurs move up to sixth in the table, just three points from the Top Four.
"It's always the same in football, when you speak about something - and we said 'we need to be focused' - then 'bang', you know something will happen!" Pochettino said.
"It was was the opposite of Anderlecht but I was very pleased with the reaction of the players, which was fantastic. We fully deserved the win and created even more chances.
"It was a very difficult game against a team that looks to play on the grass, runs a lot, is very aggressive and our effort was fantastic in the way we pressed, the way we put them under pressure.
"For me, it's the way we reacted after we conceded the early goal, the mentality was strong and the way we played, we pushed hard, put them under pressure and after that, we were clinical in front of goal."
