Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has played down his side's chances of qualifying for next season's Champions League.
Spurs suffered their second consecutive disappointing scoreline this month as they drop to seventh in the table.
"It is difficult to fight for the top four after the last two games, we have to be realistic," Pochettino said.
"Burnley and Villa were difficult games. With a player like Benteke they are always dangerous but our performance was not good.
"It is very difficult, we have only six games to go but now we must increase our performances but it is not easy, we need to win all points.
"The first half was difficult because made it difficult for ourselves. We did not manage the ball properly. Their goal was our mistake and it was a similar line to the last game against Burnley.
"We had some chances, we had possession and managed the game. But they scored their first chance. It was a tough game. I'm disappointed for the players and with the result.
"It was difficult to come back into the game. We needed to be more clinical. But it wasn't enough to score today.
"I think maybe after we analyse the game, we'll see we deserved more. But this is football."
