Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth says Nemanja Matic could leave Chelsea to move to Old Trafford.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is still chasing a defensive midfielder and the Serbian would be a perfect addition to his squad according to Sheth.
"Another likely departure from Chelsea is the midfielder Nemanja Matic," he said.
“Manchester United are interested and manager Jose Mourinho has made public his desire to bring in a holding midfielder.
"Juventus, well that looked like a likelier destination earlier this month but their prime target appears to be Paris St-Germain's Blaise Matuidi."
The Red Devils have already signed two players this summer but Mourinho has made it clear this week that he still wants to add two players before the end of the summer transfer window.
