Liverpool legend weighs in after reports claim Manchester United want to sign Barcelona star

By

Liverpool legend Steve Nicol has urge Manchester United to complete the signing of striker Alvaro Morata.

The Red Devils have made contact with Real Madrid and are expected to complete the transfer before the start of next month.

Nicol was full of praise for the 24-year-old describing as a "no-brainer" the potential signing of the Spaniard.

"Absolutely it's a no-brainer," Nicol told ESPN FC.

"It's a position they need and they're going to get somebody who in my opinion could become world class, he's not too far off it.

"He's young, so he's going to be there for a long time. If you're a United fan, you're hoping this happens and I think eventually it will."
