"He is moving to Manchester United" - Important element added to Jose Mourinho's team

By

Manchester United have secured the services of Juventus scouting manager Javier Ribalta according to reports in Italy.

The 36-year-old leaves Juventus after five years during which he was one of the key elements who made possible the transfer of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid to the Serie A giants.

Ribalta confirmed on the club's official website that he is leaving as he was full of gratitude for Juventus directors Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici.

"It has been a wonderful few years here," he said.

"My thanks go to all involved with the club, particularly Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici for the faith they have shown in me since day one.

"I will look back on my time at Juventus with great pleasure."

Ribalta will work alongside chief scouts Jim Lawlor and Marcel Bout in his attempt to bring important players to Old Trafford.
