Manchester United have reached an agreement with Alvaro Morata but are yet to agree the transfer with his club.
Sky Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the two clubs have met to discuss the transfer but no deal has been struck.
In fact, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed that the Red Devils are yet to make a bid for the striker.
This is because the two clubs are still trying to reach an agreement.
The Spaniards want to include David de Gea in the deal but the Red Devils want to keep hold of the goalkeeper.
"I have not talked to [PSG chairman] Nasser [Al-Khelaifi] or anyone else, nor have we received offers for [Ronaldo], Morata or James [Rodriguez]," Perez told Marca.
"And neither have we made any offers for anyone.
"There are no figures. The only possibility is to continue with the players we have. And if we do something, it will be punctual."
