Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay has confirmed that his club want to sign Manchester United midfielder Adnan Januzaj.
The youngster spent last season on loan at Sunderland with his adventure with the Black Cats starting with an ankle injury that kept him on the sidelines for almost two months.
He returned to Manchester United but he is not part of Jose Mourinho's plans.
"It's true that we are interested but we are not in talks with Manchester or with him," Aperribay said.
Meanwhile, reports in Belgium have claimed that Roma, Monaco, Marseille, Lyon, Internazionale and Milan also want to secure the services of the 22-year-old.
But the player would prefer to embark on a new experience in the Spanish Liga so David Moyes' former club are at the moment in pole position to sign him.
