Jose Mourinho's number 1 target will be officially announced in the next 72 hours

By

The transfer of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata to Manchester United should be announced in the next 72 hours.

The Daily Star claims that the Red Devils will officially announce the signing of the Spaniard on Tuesday or Wednesday.

The 24-year-old will move to Old Trafford for a reported fee of £75million.

Meanwhile, former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon believes the player is taking the right decision in leaving Real to move to the English Premier League.

"Alvaro Morata is not happy at Real Madrid," Calderon told the Sun.

"He hasn't played and it's the kind of deal and agreement which is great for all sides. The player, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

"All parties will be very happy with the deal."
