The transfer of striker Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid to Manchester United has been delayed but still will be finalised by the end of this week.
The Spain international is expected to become Jose Mourinho's second summer signing after defender Victor Lindelof.
The two clubs are yet to reach a financial agreement but reports in Spain have revealed that Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez will personally announce the transfer in the next 48 hours.
A few days ago, agent Juanma Lopez has confirmed that Manchester United is an "interesting" destination for his client.
"Manchester United is a very interesting option," Lopez told Calciomercato.com.
"[If we said yes?] All I can say is that their offer is very, very important so now it's down to Real Madrid. I don't know if the transfer can be concluded in a short time, we'll see."
