Istanbul Basaksehir have opened talks with Manchester United to sign winger Ashley Young, Express Sport has claimed.
The 31-year-old has only one year left on his contract and manager Jose Mourinho is ready to sell him in order to avoid losing him for free next year.
The Turkish side want to be competitive in next season's Champions League after finishing second in the Super Lig.
The Englishman confirmed last April that he is taking in consideration the possibility of leaving Old Trafford.
"There is always speculation, especially when there is a transfer window and you are not playing," he said three months ago.
"But I have always said that I want to play as much as possible. What the future holds I am not too sure.
"I am just concentrating on each game and when the manager calls on me I will give 100 per cent and look to play as well as I can.
"That is what I am concentrating on now. That is the main focus for me and then we will see what happens."
