Zlatan Ibrahimovic has chosen to join LA Galaxy and could sign a contract with the MLS club this month after being released by Manchester United, Metro has claimed.
The 35-year-old enjoyed a very positive season at Old Trafford but suffered a very serious knee injury in Manchester United's Europa League win over Anderlecht in April.
The Swede has agreed to stay at the club's Carrington training headquarters while he continues his rehabilitation following cruciate knee ligament damage.
According to the Metro article, he has already reached an agreement with LA Galaxy and will join them ahead of the season kick-off in March.
Last month, agent Mino Raiola confirmed that the experienced striker is not yet ready to retire from the game:
"Many clubs have asked for Zlatan," he said.
"He can play two more years and will stay in Europe, 100%."
