Manchester United have officially announced that an agreement has been reached with Benfica for the transfer of defender Victor Lindelof.
He is Jose Mourinho's first signing of this summer's transfer window.
The Sweden international joins for an undisclosed fee rumoured to be in the region of £31million.
He will team up with Eric Bailly in the heart of the Manchester United defence, allowing Jose Mourinho to deploy two very promising young defenders in defence.
"Manchester United is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Victor Lindelof, subject to a medical examination, international clearance and personal terms," the club statement says.
"A further announcement will be made once the transfer is complete."
