Manchester United have joined the race to sign Chelsea target Tiemoue Bakayoko according to the International Business Times.
Recent reports have claimed that the Monaco defensive midfielder has agreed to move to Stamford Bridge but it seems the two parties are yet to reach an agreement.
Manager Jose Mourinho wants to add more strength to a midfield area that already includes Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini.
Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the strong Frenchman but he made it clear that he will not leave Monaco to join a French rival.
"I can't leave Monaco to go to PSG," he declared last month.
"It's impossible, because I've just finished champion ahead of Paris. I can't leave for a club that has finished behind me.
"PSG is a club I carry in my heart because I'm a Parisian and I was a supporter of PSG, like my family. They initiated me."
