Manchester United and Antoine Griezmann have reached an agreement on personal terms, Italian beIN Sports reporter Tancredi Palmeri has revealed on Twitter.
It is unclear if this means that the player is ready to leave the club to embark on a new experience in the English Premier League.
In fact, the 26-year-old has again insisted that his future will only be decided after meeting with the club's representatives later on this month.
"All the rumours are unfounded," Griezmann said.
"I'm still Colchonero [Atletico's nickname].
"My direction will be established after discussion with my sporting advisor."
The Frenchman has an £86million release clause which his club demand must be triggered if they are to sell.
