Manchester United have announced on their official website that defender Donald Love has left the club to join Sunderland on a four-year deal.
The 21-year-old spent two months on loan at Wigan Athletic last season and played eight games for the Latics.
Former Manchester United boss David Moyes, now at Sunderland, was full of praise for the youngster after the transfer was concluded.
"Donald Love is another young one who can play at right full-back, which we know we need to strengthen in, or in midfield," Moyes told Sunderland's official website.
"He's come highly recommended, again a young one, and one that I hope we can improve.
"I want to add some young players to the squad as well as some senior players, so both of them have got really good potential and the opportunity to improve."
