New Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery says midfielder Blaise Matuidi could leave the club during the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Manchester United, Chelsea and Juventus.
Recent reports have claimed that he has a market transfer value of £30million.
United boss Jose Mourinho is yet to finalise the transfer of midfielder Paul Pogba and will make an attempt to sign Matuidi if he fails to land the Juventus midfielder.
The 44-year-old declared that he wants to keep the 29-year-old but has refused to give the player any first-team football guarantees ahead of the new season.
"He is a very good player," Emery told L'Equipe.
"We have a lot of left-footed defensive midfielders.
"If he has the opportunity to leave and if he thinks there are too many midfielders here ... but I do not want him to go."
