Real Madrid striker James Rodriguez says he wants to fight to secure a regular place in manager Zinedine Zidane's squad this season.
The Colombian struggled for form last season as he played only 32 games for the Spanish giants.
He is a target for Manchester United according to reports in England.
And he confirmed that a £71million offer has been received by Real Madrid but it was rejected.
"I will fight to earn my place. That's my dream. I will stay at Real Madrid, I will succeed here," he told Marca.
"I know that the club received an €85m [£71million] bid for me, but I'm not leaving."
Meanwhile, manager Zinedine Zidane has refused to confirm that the Colombian will be a regular in his squad this season.
"The idea with James is the same as with everyone else - he's a Real Madrid player," the Frenchman said.
"I'm not going to tell you that James is a starter. He's an important player. We'll see what happens this year, I have a big squad and it's complicated.
"I have to play the most competitive side I can and I'll do the same thing this season, that's my responsibility."
