Manchester United will sell "two or three players" in order to have the financial resources to sign Monaco's Fabinho, transfer market expert Emanuele Giulianelli has revealed.
Manager Jose Mourinho is still determined to strengthen his defensive department and has identified the right-back as a potential signing during the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian is ready to leave the French giants to make a move to the English Premier League.
The 22-year-old shares the same agent as Jose Mourinho and this could help negotiations between the two clubs.
"Fabinho will become a Manchester United player soon," Giulianelli wrote on Twitter.
"[But] before sealing Fabinho deal, Manchester United need to sell 2 or 3 players."
