Agent Jorge Mendes has opened talks with Chelsea and Manchester United over the possible transfer of Saul Niguez.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a very positive campaign at Atletico Madrid last season and signed a new contract with the club in May.
He has a release clause of £68million which Mendes wants the Blues or the Red Devils to meet in order to make him play in the English Premier League.
In April, Atletico boss Diego Pablo Simone said that he was not worried about all the rumours concerning the youngster's future.
"We are in a situation with young players, very young, with a great present and an even better future, all based on their day to day work," Simeone said.
"Saul has a very good present and the best thing for him is to stay away from all the talk about him. I am not afraid he will move to another team."
