Henrikh Mkhitaryan will join Manchester United after the Red Devils submitted a £31million offer, journalist Emanuele Giulianelli revealed on Twitter.
The Armenian is a target for the Red Devils and agent Mino Raiola confirmed that his client wants to move to Old Trafford.
Borussia Dortmund do not want to sell the player but they may be forced to accept the offer made by the Red Devils so as not to lose him for free next summer.
At the start of the week, Raiola said: "It would be a sin to stop talking.
"I am a positive guy. If I wasn't confident of reaching some kind of conclusion, I wouldn't try.
"I am very proud Manchester United want him and the talks are being held in a good atmosphere but at the moment Dortmund are still saying no."
