New Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho could be set to make a shock move to sign Wolfsburg man Andre Schurrle, Calciomercato.com has revealed.
The Germany international left Stamford Bridge when the Portuguese was in charge after the relationship between the two broke down.
Back then, he confessed that he didn't have the manager's trust anymore.
"There was a time in my second season when I felt I didn't have the manager's trust anymore," Schurrle said last year.
"I don't know why Mourinho didn't trust me. It all felt a bit weird to me. It was up and down the whole time. I didn't get any consistency from the manager, so found it hard to produce my best.
"That's probably the biggest reason I wanted to leave."
But according to the Italian website, Mourinho is ready to add the German to his squad although the Red Devils will face competition from Borussia Dortmund.
