Former Chelsea man Andre Schurrle says new Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is a winner and will do well at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese took over from Louis van Gaal after agreeing a three-year contract with the club.
The 25-year-old was heavily criticised by Mourinho after leaving Chelsea but was still full of praise for his former manager.
"It's difficult [to work with him]," Schurrle said.
"He expects a lot of his players. He will probably buy a lot players that suit him and how he wants to play and we will see how they get on.
"If you do what he wants and play well, it's easy. But sometimes he wants a lot of you and it's difficult. He is a very demanding manager.
"I think it's good for Manchester United. He's a good manager and he knows how to win things. I think he will do well at Manchester United.
"He did well at Chelsea when he was there and the team was a mirror image of the manager. He's a winner and he knows how to win."
