Manchester United have joined the battle to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the Daily Mail has revealed on Monday.
Arsenal were strong favourites to secure the services of the 27-year-old but according to German football expert Jan Aage Fjortoft, United are now hoping to sign the player who has the same agent as Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Whatever happens, it now seems clear the Armenian will feature in the English Premier League next season with Liverpool also rumoured to be interested.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc confirmed last week that the player will take a final decision before the end of this week.
