New Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has made contact with Belgium's Marouane Fellaini to wish him luck ahead of tomorrow's Euro 2016 opener against Italy.
Recent reports have claimed that the 28-year-old will leave the club during the summer transfer window but he rubbished the rumours, confirming that he will be at Old Trafford next season.
"Mourinho contacted me by SMS to say welcome to United and to wish me a good Euro," said the 28-year-old," Fellaini is quoted as saying by Goal.
"As far as my future is concerned, I'm under contract with Manchester United.
"In addition, a great manager, Jose Mourinho, is arriving.
"He likes to win titles and I would be honoured and proud to work with him. Now it's up to me to show he can trust me."
