Manchester United are in pole position to sign Breel Embolo, Express Sport has revealed.
The Red Devils are strong favourites to sign the 19-year-old who is also a target for Tottenham Hotspur.
Last week, Basel's director of football Georg Heitz confirmed that the youngster will leave during the summer transfer window.
"It’s very probable that he’ll leave this summer", he told Goal.com.
"He’s played for three seasons in our first team and he's just 19-year-old.
"At some point we have to accept that we cannot change our league. The players love our club but realise they have to change their league at some point to develop."
