Former Chelsea assistant first team coach Ray Wilkins has urged Jose Mourinho to change the way he thinks after joining Manchester United.
The Portuguese is renowned for grinding out results, even if it means doing it without producing entertaining football.
But Wilkins says the 53-year-old should focus on bringing nice football back to Old Trafford.
"He needs to change the way he thinks about his football a little bit," Wilkins told Sky Sports Now.
"One of the criticisms levelled at Van Gaal was the fact that he was very defensive
"Possession is fantastic, and Mourinho likes to play that way, but he likes to play with a progression as well. He likes his players to be aggressive, go forward and score."
