New Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is ready to sell Memphis Depay and Daley Blind in order to have the financial resources to sign the players he wants, Calciomercato.com has revealed.
The Dutchman is aware that a regular place in the Portuguese's squad is not a certainty as he told the Mirror: "I played 57 games for United this season but I must accept that I will have to prove myself to the new manager like every other player in our squad."
Depay, 22, struggled to make an impact in the English Premier League since joining from PSV Eindhoven and is a target for Ronald Koeman's Southampton according to reports in England.
Mourinho is plotting a squad overhaul during the summer transfer window with Paul Pogba and Gonzalo Higuain both linked with a possible move to Old Trafford.
