Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal says his style of football is working at the club despite a number of negative results.
The Red Devils suffered a 2-0 away defeat against Liverpool in mid-week in the Europa League as they prepare to host West Ham United in the FA Cup.
And the Dutchman insists that the objective is to lift a trophy this season.
"There is of course much more pressure on us now, but it is also possible [that we win] against West Ham," van Gaal said.
"We are still in three competitions, so we need to fight.
"We still have the chance to win something and you have to believe in that.
"I think it [my style at Manchester United] is working.
"It is not giving the best results. It is not good enough when you think you have to be a champion, or win the Europa League or the FA Cup.
"There are many of my colleagues who are not in three competitions any more.
"It is possible that we are going out [of the Europa League] and then it is a very difficult situation for everyone, but still we have the chance to win something and you have to believe in that."
