Louis van Gaal: Injury update ahead of the Manchester City game

By

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal says he has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the weekend derby against Manchester United.

The Red Devils will leapfrog their rivals if they get all three points from Sunday's game.

And the Dutchman is delighted to have plenty of options to choose from ahead of the game.

"It's [the injury situation is] pretty good, because only Luke Shaw and Paddy McNair are long-term injuries," he told MUTV.

"Ashley Young has had three weeks out of training sessions so cannot play against City.

"It's always better that a manager can select from a lot of players.

"There have been times when I could not select from many, like last year, but this year is going much better."
