Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal was delighted after his side battled to a 1-0 away win against Aston Villa.
Adnan Januzaj scored the only goal of the game, days after the Dutchman confirmed that he will not be sold during the summer transfer window.
And the United boss was full of praise for the 20-year-old after the final whistle.
"Yes I am very happy that we have won," van Gaal told reporters.
"We started the competition with a win at home and a win away. I think the key for this season is to win more away games and I think we are capable of doing that.
"[I started with Adnan Januzaj] because he had different signals in the preparation that he is more and more confident, but also better.
"I like a second striker in that position more than a third midfielder. That is why, for example, Herrera is not playing but is always coming in because he is more of a controlling midfielder there.
"Okay, today he [Januzaj] gave us a wonderful goal and I am very happy with him, but we have to show more ball capacity.
"We had too many unnecessary losses and also Adnan Januzaj had unnecessary ball losses. There were more players – Memphis Depay, Rooney – all had too many unnecessary ball losses. That is why we did not create too much and, in a game like that, we could have created much more."
