Daily Telegraph reporter Mark Ogden says Manchester United will soon announce the signing of Barcelona winger Pedro.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Ogden declared that the Spain international will not sign to take over from Angel Di Maria but will be boss Louis van Gaal's last summer signing.
"There were pictures of Di Maria in Qatar overnight and once that is signed off, I think the Pedro deal will happen quickly," he said.
"He is not a direct replacement, but it is one in, one out, so I think Pedro is fairly close.
"I think one at most will come in and that will be Pedro. I don't see any more, I really don't."
