Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is ready to offer £42 to Lazio to sign midfielder Felipe Anderson and defender Stefan de Vrij.
Rumours that the Red Devils want to sign the two players emerged at the start of last month.
But according to Calciomercato.it, Lazio president Claudio Lotito is determined to do well in this season's Champions League and is not ready to sell his best players.
Last month, 22-year-old Anderson also confirmed that he is not interested in leaving the club.
"What I know about my future is that I will play with Lazio, and I have recently renewed my contract for another five years," Felipe Anderson told LaLazioSiamoNoi.it. in June.
"I am focused only on Lazio, I don't think of anything else. I don't know of any other offer, my future is at Lazio.
"My goal is to be at the 2016 Olympics.
"After the opportunity I had with the national team I am even more motivated just to train I think.
"The Olympics is a very important competition and winning a medal would be great, something I have dreamt about a lot.
"But now I want to enjoy this golden opportunity and just focus on my training."
