Manchester United have joined the race for John Stones after discreet contact with Everton, Mirror has revealed.
The Englishman is a confirmed target for Chelsea after boss Jose Mourinho confirmed last week that an offer has been made.
But the Red Devils are also eager to add the 21-year-old to their squad.
The youngster has a market transfer value of £34m according to his club, a fee that Chelsea are yet to meet.
And always according to the Mirror, Manchester City could be ready to meet Everton's asking price for the defender.
