Manchester United are plotting a £22m swoop for Barcelona forward Pedro to boost Louis van Gaal's attacking options, Mirror has revealed.
The 27-year-old will almost certainly leave the Spanish giants this summer with Arsenal, Chelsea and the Red Devils all ready to make a move.
At the start of the week, the Spaniard admitted that his future at the Camp Nou is unclear.
"It's true that both parties decided to reduce my release clause, and it's true that there are offers," Pedro is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
"I'm in a difficult situation at Barcelona, but I don't want to jump the gun. I just want to start working with my team-mates again.
"I'm not thinking about the future.
"For now, I want to rest and be quiet before starting pre-season with my teammates on Wednesday. We'll then see what happens.
"I haven't spoken to [Jose] Mourinho, but I don't want to say anything else because it would be disrespectful to my club, Barcelona."
